Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Kansas City, MO, supporting an outpatient pharmacy located within a children's hospital setting. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist looking to contribute to pediatric outpatient care through expert medication management and patient counseling. The position follows a Monday through Friday, day-shift schedule for a minimum contract duration of 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Verifying, filling, and accurately checking prescriptions Providing oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians Counseling patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Missouri pharmacist license is required Retail pharmacy experience preferred Availability for full-time day shifts, Monday through Friday Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
