Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a rewarding pharmacy role based in Nixa, MO, designed to support critical medication management and patient care. This opportunity invites licensed Pharmacists, including recent graduates, to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment. The position offers evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, with a 13-week contract duration and potential for extension or temp-to-hire placement.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the workflow within the central pharmacy to ensure efficient medication distribution. Verify medication products including IV solutions, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens. Inspect and manage code carts to maintain readiness for emergency situations. Supervise and occasionally redirect pharmacy technicians to optimize task prioritization and workflow.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Missouri Pharmacist license. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred.
