Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist interested in expanding their hospital experience within a behavioral health/psychiatric setting. Located in Magnolia, MS, this contract role offers the chance to work as the solo pharmacist in a supportive environment that includes pharmacy technician assistance. Retail experience is welcomed, and training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition to hospital pharmacy operations.

Contract (starting ASAP, ending June 13th)
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (no weekends)
System Experience:
medDispense and Azalea Health (EHR) preferred but training available
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate checking and verification of medication orders Conduct controlled substance management and monitoring Collaborate with pharmacy technician support to maintain efficient pharmacy operations Serve as the sole pharmacist providing clinical oversight in the behavioral health/psychiatric pharmacy setting
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with active pharmacy license Experience in retail pharmacy is acceptable; hospital or behavioral health pharmacy experience a plus Ability to work independently and confidently as the senior clinical pharmacist on-site Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably medDispense and Azalea Health This contract role is a great fit for pharmacists looking for a focused Monday-Friday schedule without weekend shifts while gaining specialty experience in behavioral health.
