Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing expert clinical advice, and supporting patient care initiatives within a hospital setting. Your expertise will contribute to optimal patient outcomes, especially in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers, ICU units, and Pediatric care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your comprehensive pharmacy knowledge and critical care experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment committed to excellence in healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, patient assessments, and pain management strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans for patients in critical care, PICU, or emergency settings Monitor drug interactions, contraindications, and patient responses to optimize therapeutic outcomes Maintain precise documentation of medication administration, IV infusions, and patient care activities Ensure aseptic techniques are followed during preparation of sterile products and IV infusions Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication usage, potential side effects, and safety protocols Requirements Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction Extensive hospital experience with a focus on critical care environments such as ICU, Emergency Room, or Level II/Level I Trauma Centers Proven expertise in managed care practices and hospital medicine protocols Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute pain management techniques Experience with medication administration in pediatrics and adult patient populations Skilled in aseptic techniques, IV infusion preparation, and sterile compounding Demonstrated ability to perform thorough patient assessments and deliver exceptional patient service Post-residency or clinical pharmacy experience emphasizing trauma center or emergency room settings preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient lives by applying your advanced pharmacy skills within a vibrant healthcare community dedicated to excellence. Pay:
$73.18 - $81.85 per hour
