Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Tribal Hospital in Montana is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services. This position offers a unique opportunity to serve a diverse patient population in a dynamic healthcare setting approximately one hour from Billings, MT. The role features a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, making it ideal for pharmacists interested in a varied clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and safely for both inpatient and outpatient care Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective patient outcomes Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) for medication management and documentation Maintain compliance with regulatory and hospital policies
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week, daytime hours
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacy license from any U.S. state Experience or willingness to work with RPMS or similar electronic health records systems Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practices Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach Ability to adapt to a culturally diverse environment This contract role lasts 3 to 12 months with a start date as soon as possible.
