Position Summary Pharmacists at ECU Health are committed to the safe and effective use of medications through maximizing drug distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes; educating patients, providers, and ourselves on best practices; and fully integrating pharmacists into the continuum of care. Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice. Minimum Requirements B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy 0 years of relevant pharmacy experience (post-graduate) Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the NC Board of Pharmacy by start date. Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually. American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
