Pharmacy Resident Full Time Variable Cape Fear Valley Health System - 3.2 Fayetteville, NC Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Prescription verification Licensed Pharmacist Pharmacy Computer skills Patient interaction State and federal pharmacy laws Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department Pharmacy Residency Program Job Family Professional Work Shift Variable (United States of America) Summary The pharmacy resident will build upon the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of acute, ambulatory and community clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions.

Eligible to take the NC Pharmacy Licensing examination upon start of employment. Licensed as a pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) by October 1 of residency year. Good communication skills, both oral and written; interpersonal skills that promote cooperative peer behavior; knowledge of drugs and how they act and interact; knowledge of Pharmacy laws (state and national).Visual acuity to review prescriptions, medication labels, and reports. Manual dexterity to use computer Speaking and hearing to converse with co-workers, physicians and patients.
