• Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies accurately and efficiently
• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure full compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards throughout all compounding activities
• Provide clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a smooth workflow and patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance at all times Experience
• Recent home infusion or infusion pharmacy experience required for permanent placement
• Strong sterile compounding experience required
• Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines required
• Retail pharmacy experience considered for contract coverage only
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Skills
• Strong clinical judgment in infusion and sterile compounding environments
• Detail oriented with excellent documentation and compliance standards
• Collaborative and reliable team member
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Qualifications
• Active North Carolina Pharmacist License in good standing required
• Not required to serve as Pharmacist in Charge during the contract period
• Must be willing to step into the PIC role if converted to a permanent hire
• Education
