Healthcare / Infusion Pharmacy Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies accurately and efficiently Oversee the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications Ensure full compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards throughout all compounding activities Provide clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a smooth workflow and patient safety Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance at all times Experience Recent home infusion or infusion pharmacy experience required for permanent placement Strong sterile compounding experience required Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines required Retail pharmacy experience considered for contract coverage only Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Skills Strong clinical judgment in infusion and sterile compounding environments Detail oriented with excellent documentation and compliance standards Collaborative and reliable team member Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Active North Carolina Pharmacist License in good standing required Not required to serve as Pharmacist in Charge during the contract period Must be willing to step into the PIC role if converted to a permanent hire Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy This is a great opportunity for an infusion pharmacist seeking consistent local work with a clear path to a permanent role, or for a retail pharmacist looking to stay active while we find the right long-term fit.
