Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Temp-To-Hire A compelling opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in compounding to join a healthcare facility in the High Point, NC area. This temp-to-hire position offers a chance to apply your compounding expertise within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Schedule and Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday Typical hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Every third Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM 30-minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to tailor pharmaceutical care to individual patient needs Prepare and dispense both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions accurately and safely Maintain detailed patient records and manage medication inventory effectively Provide pharmaceutical counsel to patients for optimal health outcomes Support and oversee pharmacy technician staff through training and supervision
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed pharmacist in the state of North Carolina 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; passionate new graduates with compounding interest are encouraged to apply Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards Experience or familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing Willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to QS1, with training provided This 13-week temp-to-perm role offers an excellent pathway to become an integral part of a forward-thinking pharmacy team.
