Per Diem Home Infusion Pharmacist - Raleigh, NC RPh on the Go - 4.1 Raleigh, NC Job Details Per diem 1 day ago Qualifications Registered Pharmacist (RPh) IV compounding Medical software Patient management software Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Bachelor's degree Licensed Pharmacist Pharmacy software Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized pharmacist role is available to support home infusion pharmacy operations with a focus on patient care and sterile pharmaceutical compounding. This per diem position requires expertise in intravenous admixture services and home infusion therapy.

Raleigh, NC Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Coverage periods: June 13 through June 25 and July 29 through August 5Key Responsibilities:
Assist in verifying pharmaceutical products entering the clean room for sterile compounding, ensuring accuracy per unique lot numbers on batch records. Perform final checks on compounded sterile products (CSPs), including labels, fill amounts, and drugs used. Review final shipments to patients, confirming all medications and medical supplies match delivery documentation. Communicate effectively with physicians' offices, field nurses, and patients regarding drug regimens, inventory, potential drug reactions, and abnormal lab results. Conduct calls with patients to discuss upcoming medication deliveries, monitor drug use compliance, and report any concerns to management. Handle incoming calls from medical offices, nursing agencies, and patients promptly and professionally.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy or Master's degree in Pharmacy preferred. Active pharmacist license to practice in North Carolina. Minimum of two years recent acute-care pharmacy experience or at least one year recent experience in home infusion therapy. Strong knowledge of intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy. Proficiency with CPR+ software is essential. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience within a home infusion pharmacy environment, ideal for pharmacists skilled in sterile compounding and patient-centered communication. The position is structured as per diem coverage during specified date ranges.
