Novant Health Schedule:
3rd Shift | 7 on / 7 off (Wednesday-Tuesday) | 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Generalist to join our acute care team at Rowan Medical Center. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes. What You'll Do Provide clinical pharmacy services across acute care settings Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to develop and optimize individualized treatment plans Review and verify medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness Monitor patient medication therapy and adjust recommendations based on clinical outcomes Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on medication use Document interventions and clinical activities in accordance with system standards Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
What We're Looking For Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree , required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification PharmD, preferred.
Experience:
Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required. 2 years of experience for Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship roles: ASHP - accredited PGY2 Infectious Disease residency OR minimum of 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity., required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role, required. Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed.
