Job Description
Category Pharmacy
- Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Berlin, NH is seeking a skilled inpatient pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday
- Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m.
- 4:30/5:00 p.m.
- Every 3rd weekend rotation: Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 a.m.
- 1:00 p.m.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense medications accurately for inpatient populations
- Support multiple hospital units including critical care, emergency, and maternity
- Utilize Meditech and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
- Operate independently during weekend shifts, ensuring uninterrupted pharmaceutical services
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' hospital pharmacy experience required
- Proficiency with Meditech preferred; familiarity with Omnicell is advantageous
- Ability to work autonomously, particularly during weekend shifts
- Experience supporting varied hospital units such as ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and ED This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a dynamic hospital environment with a diverse patient population.
