Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. This role involves working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, from 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends every third week, covering Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. An ASAP start is preferred.
Location:
Berlin, NH (Rural area; note that housing may be limited, and candidates should coordinate with their travel consultant to discuss accommodations prior to application.)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical support to various hospital departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical units, and Emergency Department. Manage medication dispensing and clinical interventions using Meditech; familiarity with Omnicell systems is advantageous. Work independently during weekend shifts, ensuring continuous pharmaceutical care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
2 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, specifically within hospital settings. Previous experience at a Critical Access Hospital is highly preferred. Ability to work autonomously, especially during weekend assignments. Proficiency with Meditech medication systems. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local applicants will not be considered.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m. Rotating weekends every third weekend, Saturday/Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 40 hours per week.
