Job Description
## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing pharmaceutical care to diverse patient populations. ## Duties
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide specialized pharmaceutical care in areas such as pediatrics, pain management, and IV infusion
- Conduct patient assessments and offer recommendations for medication management
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with best practices ## Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacy license in good standing
- Completion of a post-residency program is preferred
- Strong background in patient service and clinical pharmacy practice
- Proficiency in patient assessment and medication therapy management
