Job Description

## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing pharmaceutical care to diverse patient populations. ## Duties
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients
  • Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide specialized pharmaceutical care in areas such as pediatrics, pain management, and IV infusion
  • Conduct patient assessments and offer recommendations for medication management
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with best practices ## Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active pharmacy license in good standing
  • Completion of a post-residency program is preferred
  • Strong background in patient service and clinical pharmacy practice
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and medication therapy management
