Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead a new outpatient pharmacy in the Newark, NJ area. This full-time, contract-to-hire role offers a unique leadership opportunity to oversee operations, build a dynamic team, and establish a high standard of patient care in a community pharmacy setting.

Newark, NJ Schedule:
Full-Time Monday through Saturday Daytime hours
Responsibilities:
Manage daily pharmacy operations and workflow efficiently Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory requirements Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff to foster a productive work environment Oversee inventory management and maintain quality assurance protocols Provide clinical oversight and patient counseling to ensure exceptional care Collaborate with healthcare providers and leadership to support pharmacy growth and integration Drive the successful launch and expansion of the pharmacy's services
Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required Minimum 3 years' experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge Strong background in community pharmacy operations and leadership Experience using PrimeRx, MicroMerchant, or similar pharmacy management systems is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Why This Role?
