Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Manager Fort Lee, NJ 07024 $60.76 - $70.00 an hour - Full-time $60.76 - $70.00 an hour - Full-time Job Summary (Please note Korean Language fluency is a must) We are a parental company that owns multiple pharmacy businesses in NY and NJ. We are seeking a highly experienced and self motivated Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Manager (tech help available) to lead our pharmacy team with future planning and business expansion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional patient care. Your leadership will drive the pharmacy's success by managing staff, optimizing medication management processes, and fostering a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the pharmacy team, including pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to safety protocols Oversee medication dispensing and IV infusion preparation with precision and attention to detail Manage inventory control, including stock levels, medication ordering, and storage compliance to minimize waste and ensure availability of essential drugs Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with HIPAA regulations, state and federal laws, including proper documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Conduct patient assessments to support clinical pharmacy services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, pain management, and patient education Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology to provide expert advice on medication administration and medical management Implement aseptic techniques and uphold strict standards for patient safety during IV insertion and infusion procedures Facilitate ongoing staff training on pharmacy software systems, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and best practices in acute care settings Collaborate with healthcare providers on patient care plans. Skills Extensive experience in acute care and patient service excellence Proven leadership skills as a Pharmacy Manager with the ability to motivate teams and streamline operations Strong clinical pharmacy experience including patient assessment, medication therapy management, immunizations, pain management, and medical management strategies Proficiency in pharmacy software applications as well as PrimeRx systems for accurate documentation and communication. Ability to perform inventory management efficiently while ensuring regulatory compliance for controlled substances and other medications Familiarity with IV infusion procedures, IV insertion techniques, medication administration protocols and hospital-based workflows Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice along with HIPAA regulations safeguarding patient privacy Join us in this rewarding role where your expertise will directly enhance patient outcomes!
