Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract Immediate Opportunity for Inpatient Clinical Pharmacists - 13-Week Contract A hospital in Freehold, NJ is seeking experienced clinical pharmacists to fill critical inpatient evening shifts. This contract role starts April 27 or May 4 and runs for 13 weeks, working every other week (EOW) from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately Prepare sterile and hazardous medications compliant with USP standards Manage controlled substances with precision and accountability Complete medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education Provide clinical interventions and monitor therapy for optimal patient outcomes Offer drug information and collaborate with healthcare teams for effective care

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience required Familiarity with Pyxis and carousel medication dispensing technology preferred but not mandatory Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system Must hold an active NJ pharmacist license Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster dose Open to first-time travel pharmacists ready to take on a new challenge
