This is a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist role based within the Pharmacy for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Located in Livingston, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey!
Qualifications:
Required:
Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD IV sterile compounding and oncology experience, one year
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Registered Pharmacist with NJ board of
Pharmacy Essential Functions:
The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of oncology and MS patient care They ensure that the patients receive appropriate treatment including chemotherapy and support medication management They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of outpatient and inpatient care of oncology and MS patients The pharmacist has good interpersonal skills and maintains a relationship within the interdisciplinary care team Proficient in EPIC, Beacon and navigation within the system They exercise considerable independent decision-making.
