Though certain responsibilities of the resident are required, the program has the flexibility to develop activities consistent with the resident's background and career goals. In general, the resident responsibilities include: 1. Attend daily rounds and make appropriate recommendations to inter-disciplinary treatment teams 2. Design, monitor, and evaluate treatment goals for patients that consider patient-, disease-, and drug-specific information and ethical considerations 3. Present educational in-services on pharmacy topics to patients, pharmacy staff, and inter-disciplinary treatment team 4. Lead inpatient and outpatient pharmacy medication education groups 5. Supervise pharmacy students on Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience ( APPE ) rotations. 6. Present didactic lectures to pharmacy students at the Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy 7. Complete a research project related to the provision of pharmacy care, as well as presenting this research at a national conference Position Status Full Time Posting Number 26FA0272 Posting Open Date 03/24/2026 Posting Close Date Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Applicants must have a PharmD from an ACPE accredited university. Certifications/Licenses Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Candidates must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be hardworking and capable of working both independently and on team projects.
