Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A hospital pharmacist position is available in Farmington, NM, offering an excellent opportunity to engage in clinical pharmacy practice within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role follows a 7-on, 7-off day schedule, aligning well with hospital staff routines and ensuring a balanced work-life cadence.
Responsibilities:
Perform order verification with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage intravenous (IV) medication verification to ensure patient safety. Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance. Support clinical pharmacy initiatives as part of interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
Active New Mexico pharmacist license required. Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience. Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy software. Experience utilizing the Pyxis dispensing cabinet system. Available for immediate start.
Additional Details:
Contract to hire opportunity with an initial duration of 13+ weeks.
Schedule:
