Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A hospital pharmacist position is available in the Farmington, NM area with a flexible 7 on/7 off day shift schedule that aligns well with hospital staff needs. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to expand clinical experience in a supportive medical environment.
Responsibilities include:
Order Verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing IV Verification supporting safe and effective intravenous therapy Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance Engaging in clinical pharmacy activities as encouraged by the
Director of Pharmacy Required Qualifications:
Active New Mexico pharmacist license Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy software Experience using Pyxis dispensing cabinets
Schedule:
Days 7 days on/7 days off rotation with some flexibility This position starts as soon as possible and will initially last for 13 weeks or longer. Compensation ranges from $60 to $70 per hour.
