Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital in need of a skilled pharmacist is seeking a professional to fill a critical role in a 60-bed facility. This contract position offers a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact patient care. The hospital utilizes EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems.

Schedule & Hours:

7 days on, 7 days off rotation Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts) Wednesday to Tuesday rotation

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication management and patient needs Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory policies

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred Current New Mexico pharmacist license or willingness to acquire a temporary license promptly Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is advantageous Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage duties and collaborate with healthcare teams
