Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a well-established pharmacy, providing essential leadership and ensuring compliance with state pharmacy regulations. This 6-8 week contract role requires a dedicated professional to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including staff supervision and regulatory adherence.

PM Key Responsibilities:
Assume full PIC responsibilities in accordance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy requirements. Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards. Lead and support a team of experienced pharmacy technicians. Manage medication dispensing and inventory control. Ensure exceptional patient care and service quality. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize pharmacy processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist eligible to serve as Pharmacist in Charge in Nevada. Proven experience in a PIC or leadership role within a pharmacy setting. Strong understanding of Nevada pharmacy laws and regulations. Effective communication and team leadership skills. Ability to manage workflow efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. This is a contract position beginning Monday, May 11, with a 6 to 8-week duration. Candidates must be prepared to assume full PIC responsibilities during this interim period. Support is available through an experienced pharmacy technician team to ensure smooth operations.
