Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to join a comprehensive oncology and hematology team. This role will support both outpatient cancer care services and inpatient BMT/Oncology units, providing advanced clinical pharmacy services for hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, cellular therapy, and immunotherapy patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, independent decision-making abilities, and experience managing complex oncology treatment regimens.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services for hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, biotherapy, and immune effector cellular therapy patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and pharmacotherapy plans Develop, implement, and monitor oncology order sets, treatment protocols, and evidence-based clinical guidelines Support medication order verification, distribution, and clinical interventions Coordinate oncology treatment regimens related to autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation Manage pharmacotherapy for blood cancers, CAR T-cell therapy, and BiTE therapies Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and provide patient counseling and education Participate in research initiatives, quality improvement activities, and departmental projects Represent the pharmacy department at medical center committees and interdisciplinary meetings Function as a subject matter expert in BMT and oncology pharmacy practice with a high level of autonomy
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required Current Nevada Pharmacist License required Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification required PGY2 Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy Residency required OR Minimum 5 years of clinical oncology pharmacy practice experience required Experience working in a BMT/Oncology clinic with collaborative practice agreements required Strong clinical knowledge of oncology pharmacotherapy and transplant-related treatments required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAR T-cell therapy preferred Experience with allogeneic stem cell transplantation preferred Experience with BiTE therapies preferred Strong communication, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills preferred For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
