Clinical Pharmacist BMT HiredFirst Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time $64 - $83 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description A Clinical Pharmacist - BMT/Oncology opportunity is open in Las Vegas, NV at a full-service, state-of-the-art medical center in the northwest part of the city recognized for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, a robotic surgery institute, and graduate medical education through a regional teaching consortium. The hospital has earned four consecutive Leapfrog Grade As and has been named a Top Teaching Hospital, and it hosts a dedicated Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy program embedded within its Cancer Care Clinic and inpatient BMT/Oncology unit. The role. The Clinical Pharmacist - BMT functions as the recognized expert within the transplant and cellular therapy program, working with substantial autonomy alongside specialty physicians and nurses. Day-to-day work is split between the outpatient Cancer Care Clinic and the inpatient BMT/Oncology unit, where the pharmacist collaborates with medical and nursing staff to oversee pharmacotherapy for patients receiving autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation, CAR T-cell therapy, bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies, and broader blood cancer treatment. Core responsibilities include determining and coordinating oncology regimens, performing therapeutic drug monitoring, creating and maintaining order sets and clinical protocols grounded in evidence-based medicine, and providing direct patient counseling. The pharmacist also contributes to quality improvement initiatives and serves as a pharmacy representative at medical center committees. What we're looking for. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required Current Nevada Pharmacist License required Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) required PGY2 Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy Practice Residency; OR 5 years of clinical oncology practice experience Practice experience in a BMT/Oncology clinic with a collaborative practice agreement Schedule. Full-time, days, with rotating weekends. #Workwolf
