Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage pharmaceutical inventories, track weekly sales, and order stock to meet customer needs and optimize profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense medications and medical compounds; provide guidance to patients on self-medication and over-the-counter products. Perform routine patient immunizations, contributing to community health initiatives. Support pharmacy management by scheduling associates, recognizing performance, handling disciplinary actions when necessary, and assigning work to maximize team efficiency and meet operational goals. Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals and insurance providers to ensure seamless patient service.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) Current and valid New York State Pharmacist License Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment Effective communication skills for interaction with patients and healthcare professionals This per diem role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a retail pharmacy environment with a supportive team.
