ASAP Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits. Prepare and dispense medications, including weighing, measuring, mixing drugs, and filling prescriptions accurately. Provide advice to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications. Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers and insurance professionals to support patient care. Administer patient immunizations regularly to promote public health. In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, manage pharmacy staff scheduling, recognize and discipline associates as needed, and assign work to optimize team performance while aligning with company goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Current New York State Pharmacist License required. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist comfortable with retail practice and leadership responsibilities on occasion.
