Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The Pharmacist will work in a pharmacy setting, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient service and contribute to overall health outcomes. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Conduct medication therapy management to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes for patients. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications. Utilize pharmacy software systems for prescription processing, patient records, and inventory management. Stay updated on current pharmacological knowledge, including physiology, to provide informed recommendations. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution. Valid pharmacist license in the state of New York. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and medication management systems. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence. Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in micromerchant software applications for efficient workflow management. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
