Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, uphold regulatory compliance, and foster a collaborative environment focused on patient safety and service excellence. Duties Supervise and coordinate pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient service Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and state pharmacy laws Provide clinical guidance on medication management Manage inventory levels for medications, ensuring proper storage, documentation, and timely reordering. Utilize pharmacy software systems (EMR/EHR) to document patient interactions, medication histories, and treatment plans accurately Requirements Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant state board requirements Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient assessment and medication therapy management Excellent communication skills for effective patient service Experience with Micro Merchant Systems (MMS)/PrimeRx pharmacy software is preferred, but not required.
