The position plays a vital part in core pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, order verification, sterile product preparation, and inventory control, primarily within the central pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately verify and dispense medications, ensuring correct dosing, labeling, and handling of IV and controlled substances Monitor patient medication profiles to identify interactions or allergies and resolve any medication-related concerns Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers Prepare sterile products, including IV admixtures, adhering to USP guidelines Maintain pharmacy compliance, manage inventory, and uphold a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid New York State Pharmacist License is required Completion of PGY1 residency or substantial inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices and regulatory requirements
