Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinical pharmacist interested in serving a dynamic community in a highly populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. The role is based in Queens Village, NY, at a newer outpatient pharmacy with a manageable prescription volume, supported by pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities:

Perform all typical outpatient and retail pharmacy duties, including accurate filling and dispensing of prescriptions. Provide patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use. Manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth daily operations. Administer immunizations, requiring current NYS immunization privileges. Open and close the pharmacy confidently, demonstrating strong retail pharmacy experience.

Desired Experience and Skills:

Proven retail pharmacy background, particularly with opening and closing responsibilities. Ability to interact thoughtfully with a culturally unique patient base. Experience with Rx30 pharmacy software is highly preferred but not mandatory. NYS immunization privileges are required to administer vaccinations.

Saturday 5/16, 4:00 PM-12:00 AM Saturday 5/23, 4:00 PM-12:00 AM Saturday 5/30, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM This per diem position offers the chance to work with supportive technician staff in an efficiently run, newer pharmacy.
