Full Time Salary Range $55-65/hr, based on qualifications, experience, licensure, and schedule. This range represents the employer's goodfaith estimate of compensation at the time of posting, in compliance with New York State and New York City pay transparency laws. Position Summary Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Registered Pharmacist provides direct patient care and wellness services while supporting internal and external customers. The Pharmacist ensures the safe, accurate, and lawful dispensing of medications in accordance with New York State and Federal regulations, as well as company policies, procedures, and professional standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities  Provide direct patient care, medication counseling, and wellness services in a patientfocused and professional manner.  Review and verify medication orders against patient medication profiles in compliance with State and Federal laws, pharmacy policies, and standards of practice.  Maintain compliance with infection control standards, risk management procedures, and regulatory requirements related to medication storage, inventory control, security, and dispensing.  Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.  Inspect and verify deliveries for accuracy; perform repetitive tasks for extended periods while maintaining focus, accuracy, and professionalism despite frequent interruptions.  Apply effective decisionmaking skills, including data analysis, prioritization, efficient resource utilization, and collaboration with management and healthcare providers.  Maintain composure in highpressure environments; perform computerbased work for extended periods, stand for the duration of shifts, and lift/move items weighing more than 30 pounds when required. Provide supervision and leadership to Pharmacy Assistants, including attendance and punctuality oversight, break management, constructive feedback, conflict resolution, and productivity optimization.  Participate in instore projects, promotional events, and initiatives aligned with company and patient care goals.  Demonstrate flexibility and cooperation in response to operational or system changes, assisting colleagues and customers as needed.  Maintain a positive attitude, accept constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions when appropriate.  Adhere to all company policies, including dress code, code of conduct, customer service standards, and mandatory service requirements.  Foster respectful, inclusive working relationships and serve as a professional role model.  Maintain licensure, competency standards, and Continuing Education (CE) credits as required by New York State.  Perform other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements  Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy).  Active New York State Pharmacist license and registration, in good standing.  Ability to stand for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts.  Retail pharmacy experience preferred.  Experience with Micro Merchant (PrimeRx) is a plus.
