Staff Pharmacist & Control Room Pharmacist•Columbus, OH (2nd Shift)

Shift:

2nd Shift•6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday-Friday & every other weekend

Pay:

$60•62/hour

Multiple Position Overview:

Crown Staffing is seeking licensed Staff Pharmacists and Control Room Pharmacists for 2nd shift in Columbus, OH. These positions are critical in ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration Ensure dispensed medicines are correctly prepared, labeled, and supplied Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries Supervise the preparation of medications Recommend therapy changes to physicians and facility staff when necessary Investigate and resolve medication-related issues Maintain accurate customer records, including medical history, clinical data, and laboratory information

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Ohio Minimum 2 years of experience practicing as a pharmacist Strong knowledge of medication therapy and clinical practices Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work 2nd shift hours, including every other weekend
