Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire An expanding closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy is seeking two experienced Clinical Pharmacists with expertise in narcotics and controlled substances management for direct hire positions. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a specialized pharmacy setting supporting patient care in long-term care facilities.
Location:
Dublin, OH Schedule Options:
Second Shift:
Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM with every other weekend off
Second Shift:
7 days on / 7 days off, 4:00 PM - 2:30
AM Key Responsibilities:
Review medication orders to ensure appropriate drug selection, dosing, interactions, and administration Provide recommendations to physicians and facility staff regarding therapy adjustments Monitor and maintain detailed patient medication records, including clinical and laboratory data Address and resolve medication-related inquiries from healthcare team members Supervise medication preparation processes Maintain accurate registers and security protocols for controlled substances Perform "on-call" duties as required to support pharmacy operations Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other clinicians to optimize medication use
Qualifications:
Current Ohio pharmacist license in hand (required) Proven experience handling narcotics and controlled drugs in a pharmacy setting Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to controlled substance management Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with healthcare providers Proficiency with pharmacy software systems such as Frameworks This position offers stability in a growing operation with a commitment to patient-centered care in the long-term care population.
