Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire An Infusion Pharmacy Manager position is available for direct hire in Dublin, OH, with an immediate start. This role requires strong leadership skills to oversee pharmacy operations and staff management within an infusion or specialty pharmacy setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the need for schedule flexibility and participation in administrative on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage pharmacy operations to ensure efficient and compliant service. Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring in line with physician orders and regulatory standards. Ensure adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards as well as state Board of Pharmacy regulations. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify drug-related needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Supervise and train pharmacy staff including Clinical Pharmacists, Technicians, and Interns. Maintain secure handling of controlled substances. Collaborate with healthcare providers and referral sources to support patient care. Serve as a resource for drug information and support sales and clinical teams. Conduct hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning for pharmacy staff. Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours managerial support.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist with significant clinical expertise. Minimum 7 years of pharmacist experience, preferably with direct compounding background. Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience highly preferred. Active and appropriate state licensure with postgraduate training. Familiarity with pharmacy management systems such as CPR+ or CareTend.
