Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medication management and patient care services. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication therapy and health status. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in acute care settings. Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations. Utilize pharmacy software for accurate prescription processing and record keeping. Prepare and dispense medications using aseptic techniques when necessary. Offer counseling on medication usage, side effects, and pain management strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including pediatrics and specialty medications. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Candidates should possess the following experience or skills: Proven experience in medical management and patient care settings. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain professional rapport with ordering physicians Proficiency in using pharmacy software for daily operations. $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
