Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A growing closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy in Westerville, OH is seeking two Direct Hire Narcotic/Control Pharmacists to support their expanding operation. These roles focus on managing controlled substances within a specialized pharmacy setting.
Positions Available:
2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM), every other weekend 2nd Shift, 7 days on/7 days off, Monday-Sunday (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM)

Ohio pharmacist license must be current and in-hand
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise controlled drug (narcotics) handling and documentation Evaluate medication orders for accuracy, drug interactions, dosages, and appropriate administration Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, recommending therapy adjustments as needed Maintain comprehensive customer databases including medical history and laboratory data Investigate and resolve medication-related queries promptly Ensure proper security and legal compliance for medication storage and registers Oversee medication preparation processes and maintain standards of pharmacy practice Provide "on-call" support as required
Qualifications:
Active Ohio pharmacist license Experience with controlled substances in a Long Term Care or closed-door pharmacy environment Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to communicate effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams Proficient with pharmacy systems such as Frameworks Interested candidates should submit an updated resume, one Pharmacy Manager reference, and a copy of their Ohio pharmacist license.
