Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting in the Portland, OR area. This contract position offers an engaging environment where your expertise in medication management and patient care will be highly valued.
Location:
Portland, Oregon (near Beaverton)
Schedule/Hours:
Variable days and afternoon shifts Approximately 13 weeks in duration ASAP start
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications in compliance with state laws and facility protocols Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and dosage Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication outcomes Utilize pharmacy information systems such as Cerner and Pyxis for inventory and medication management Counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication use and safety
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid Oregon Pharmacist License required Experience working with Cerner and Pyxis systems preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to variable schedules This contract role provides an excellent chance to apply your pharmacy skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality patient care.
