Days | 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Schedule Benefits Day Shift Schedule Block Scheduling Short-Term 8-Week Assignment Opportunity for First-Time Travel Pharmacists Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for an 8-week travel assignment in Hood River, Oregon. This short-term opportunity offers a consistent block schedule and the chance to work in an acute care hospital environment supporting inpatient and emergency department services. First-time travel pharmacists are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders. Prepare and oversee sterile IV medications, TPNs, and emergency medications. Ensure compliance with USP standards and medication safety protocols. Support emergency department and acute care patient needs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Provide clinical consultation regarding medication dosing, interactions, and therapeutic recommendations. Utilize Epic EMR for order verification, documentation, and provider communication. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and regulatory compliance. Participate in overnight on-call coverage as required. Required Qualifications Active Oregon Pharmacist License (RPh/PharmD) . Willingness to work scheduled weekends. Ability to participate in overnight on-call rotation. Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills. First-time travel candidates are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications Previous Inpatient or Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy Experience . Experience with sterile compounding and IV preparations.
