Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This role focuses on specialized sterile and non-sterile compounding within a dedicated specialty pharmacy. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of the Pharmacy Supervisor to ensure all compounded medications meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards, adhering closely to USP , , and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds accurately, following master formula worksheets and SOPs. Monitor and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding pharmaceutical compounding. Perform calculations, documentation, and operate production equipment in line with company policies. Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques, cleaning, and garbing protocols. Conduct quality control tests and inspections to ensure the potency, purity, and safety of compounded medications. Provide support to prescription dispensing staff as needed. Counsel patients on compounded prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. Maintain continuous professional development to stay updated on evolving compounding techniques and technology.

Qualifications:

Active pharmacist license with experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding. In-depth knowledge of USP , , and standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Reliable attendance is critical due to the nature of this role and client expectations.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, shifts available: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (this later shift may be assigned after training)
