Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A reputable 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for an immediate start. This 13-week assignment offers a flexible schedule with variable days and afternoon shifts, providing the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic inpatient setting. Key responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians, and managing pharmacokinetics. Candidates will work extensively with EPIC and Pyxis systems, ensuring accurate medication management and patient safety. Experience with oncology and chemotherapy medications will be highly valued.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required Several years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system is essential Experience handling oncology and chemotherapy drug therapies Strong skills in order verification and clinical consultation Ability to supervise and support pharmacy technicians
