• Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity.

This role is critical and requires strong attention to detail and reliability, with attendance being a top priority. In this position, you will work under the Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing personalized pharmaceutical preparations. Your focus will be on producing patient-specific compounded medications, maintaining strict adherence to USP , , and guidelines, and performing quality control to guarantee the safety, purity, and efficacy of all compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure sterile and non-sterile compounded preparations are accurate and comply with master formula worksheets and SOPs. Maintain compliance with USP compounding standards and internal policies regarding aseptic techniques, cleaning, and garbing. Operate and monitor production and computerized equipment to uphold quality standards. Perform necessary calculations, documentation, and quality control testing. Prepare and sanitize work areas prior to production. Provide patient care counseling on compounded, prescription, and OTC medications. Stay current with compounding technologies, techniques, and industry best practices.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM

• 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM
• 5:30 PM Potential assignment to Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM
• 7:00 PM after training

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with clinical experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding. Thorough knowledge of USP , , and guidelines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and patient safety. Reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
