Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established 500-bed hospital in the Lancaster, PA area is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment with an ASAP start. This opportunity offers a variable schedule working days and afternoons, providing some flexibility to fit your needs.

Responsibilities include:

Verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Consulting with physicians and healthcare teams on medication therapies Applying pharmacokinetics principles to optimize dosing regimens Utilizing IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting Strong knowledge of medication safety, regulations, and clinical pharmacy practices Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical staff
