Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for a minimum of 13 weeks. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on inpatient pharmacy services. Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians, and managing pharmacokinetics to ensure optimal patient care. You will utilize systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to efficiently manage medication distribution and documentation. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license and have approximately two years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. The schedule is variable, primarily covering days and afternoon shifts, allowing flexibility within the healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems Strong knowledge of order verification and pharmacokinetics Ability to supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and physicians
