Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Director to oversee a 503A compounding pharmacy's operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency in both sterile and non-sterile compounding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, maintaining full regulatory accountability. Serve as the main liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational or ownership changes, facility modifications, and PIC transitions. Lead and supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production personnel. Oversee batch record creation, execution, review, and approval, ensuring quality and compliance. Support scheduling for production to guarantee on-time delivery, inventory control, and capacity planning. Uphold quality assurance initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager. Thorough knowledge of USP , , , and applicable state and federal regulations governing 503A compounding pharmacies. Proven track record in leading audits and successfully managing regulatory inspections.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed.
