The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical pharmacy experience and demonstrate strong leadership in managing pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional patient care. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic pharmacy team while maintaining the highest standards of medication management and patient safety. Duties Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy laws. Lead medication dispensing activities, including compounding medications using aseptic techniques and IV infusion preparation. Manage inventory control, including medication procurement, storage, and expiration tracking to ensure optimal stock levels. Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians, providing training on pharmacy software systems , medication administration protocols, and patient service procedures. Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans and patient care strategies. Ensure accurate documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. Facilitate immunizations administration and maintain certifications in immunization protocols. Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits of medication safety practices. Requirements Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of practice. Experience with pharmacy software systems (EMR/EHR) and inventory management tools. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and interdisciplinary collaboration. Pay:
$60.00 - $70.00 per hour
