Key Responsibilities:

Perform medication order entry and verification, ensuring appropriateness through comprehensive medication profile reviews. Deliver clinical pharmacy services tailored to the specific needs of ED and ICU patient populations. Provide drug information and participate actively in multi-disciplinary rounds as assigned. Monitor drug therapy and manage pharmacist-led consults according to established protocols. Engage in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma events.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Completion of PGY1 residency or minimum three years of current clinical pharmacy experience. Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain licensure. Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system is advantageous.

Schedule:

Variable days and afternoon shifts, primarily 8-hour day shifts. Benefits include competitive compensation ranging between $108,000 and $169,000 annually (midpoint $139,000), with potential relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
