Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as a Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist working across Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) settings, as well as engaging in antibiotic stewardship efforts. Unlike larger hospitals where clinical pharmacists may be assigned to a single unit, this role allows for professional growth by hands-on experience in multiple clinical areas, enhancing diverse clinical skills and expertise.

Responsibilities:
Verify and enter medication orders ensuring appropriateness and safety Review medication profiles and provide clinical services tailored to patient needs Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and teams in ED and ICU settings Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults in accordance with established protocols Respond to acute patient scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and other critical emergencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) residency or a minimum of three years of current clinical pharmacy experience Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain licensure
Schedule:
Primarily day shifts with some variable days or afternoon shifts 8-hour shifts
Systems:
Experience with Meditech electronic health records is preferred This role is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive compensation range from $108,000 to $169,000 annually, with a midpoint salary of $139,000. Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
