Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations within a 503A compounding pharmacy. The role carries full regulatory accountability and offers a chance to oversee and direct all aspects of sterile and non-sterile compounding, ensuring compliance with state, federal, FDA, and USP standards. Responsibilities include serving as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, acting as the primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy and regulatory bodies, and maintaining clear communication regarding operational or ownership changes. The PIC will provide leadership and supervision to pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff while overseeing batch record management and supporting production scheduling to guarantee on-time delivery and accurate inventory control. A quality assurance partnership and continuous improvements are critical to this position.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania Minimum of 5 years' experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager Strong knowledge of USP , , standards and compliance requirements for 503A compounding pharmacies Proven expertise in leading audits and managing regulatory inspections
